Being a sweetmeat seemed appealing. You were automatically nobility and lived with luxuries. Though, being in a tuck shop was far from dandy to those within them. Many people knew what happened through rumours and tales, but many didn't care. Make no mistake, parents who cared deeply for the children that were "gifted" with being a sweetmeat, set out to hide their childrens' "gift" from the world to protect them from what awaits them. Sugar Nazareth's parents are no different. Years upon years, they succeeded in hiding that she was a sweetmeat. So when she decides on joining the Week of Rivelazione parade and somehow wins her place in the royal palace, she'd have to keep hiding that fact with the help of a fellow sweetmeat who has experience in a tuckshop. She was but a face among the commonwealth, one of the lower class who was barely looked at by those above her. No one wanted to help the lower class and even in the lowest tier, there were greedy, selfish people who would rather die than give their hard earned money to someone else. So the Vinson family needed to stick together. Being a family in the slums of Arbtus with hopes of living better, they needed money to survive. And so it was time for Ambrosia to become serious and get a job that would stick. So she applied and applied to long-term jobs before she got a letter from where she didn't think she had a chance of being accepted-- the palace, signed by a Mr Marcel Adams. Fair Lady Hayden was a ship that carried female convicts from the fictional kingdom, Canen, to the fictional land, Ader. Among this ship were an estimated 230 prisoners- not counting the children the women brought along. There are times when they aren't treated the best. Prisoner Judithe slowly gets tired of the mistreatment she has been given by those in her life. A sickening event pushes her to the edge and causes her to take action against some of those who did her wrong. -BOOK 1- 'Pirate Queen of Fair Lady Hayden' is a fantasy story based on Lady Juliana and the 1700's that mentions topics of inequality, harassment, and down low and dirty business such as prostitution and cheating. There are scenes that involve sex and death as well. There will also be sapphic properties. Disclaimer: The sapphic properties come way later on in the story. What happens when you find a baby in the branches of a tree outside of a human village with no mother insight? Now, what happens when you find out that the baby belongs to someone who was brutally executed in the village just hours before? Well, you bring it under your care. Apostol Toma, a vampire, decided to do just that since his manor was awfully lonely. He thought the best way to curb the loneliness was with a daughter, but he couldn't have one because he's not exactly a hit with the ladies.
