Jughead is growing sicker and sicker and doesn't have much time left. However, he's dedicated to living life to getting even closer to the love of his life.

[THIS IS A SPIN-OFF TO JUST SOME DISTANCE. READ THAT STORY FIRST] Jughead goes to to Seattle, Washington to the new hospital. He is missing the people back in Riverdale, especially Betty. But he meets some people that help with overcome his sadness and find happiness again.

Betty Cooper is 17 and new to the small town of Riverdale she's just moved from LA to Riverdale with her family for a "fresh start". Betty move to Riverdale because that's where her parents grew up. Jughead Jones has lived in Riverdale all his life he was home school time about 6th grade (11years old) when his parents made him go to school. He 17 now and a junior in Riverdale High. He's bullied a lot because he doesn't have to do gym and he walks with a limp. But there's a reason for that. Jughead has one leg well two but his right leg stops just above his knee nobody knows apart from a few of his close friends (Archie, Veronica and Kevin) his best friend but dose that change when his new neighbours move in? What happens when the Betty meet the Jughead? Also there's going to be kissing booth references and stuff in this book.

Jughead Jones was born with a disease called, Emphysema(it is a Lung disease please don't come at me). He has spent his entire life in the hospital and never planned his life any other way. He had what he needed. His best friend, Archie Andrews, his treatments and medications, his hobbies, and his family. One day, every patient gets a "caretaker" and Jughead's caretaker is a girl his age named, Betty Cooper. Betty and Jughead won't let Emphysema get in the way of who they love.
