Whenever someone turns 16, a mark will be imprinted onto their right ankle and it will stick to you for the rest of your life. Marks have special meanings. Everyone has their own soulmate, your soulmate could even be living in the opposite side of the globe from you or might even be your next door neighbor. Marks are very unique.
