Writing help from an English/Creative Writing major. This is practically a free writing class. It's full of useful writing tips and tricks that I've picked up in my writing career/common mistakes found while editing others' work. I hope you can find use out of this. I add to it every time I think of something else that beginners would find useful. These are in no particular order, so feel free to refer to the Table of Contents to skip to a topic that you're interested in. **I am currently working on rewriting and editing this into a real book, which I'll publish on Amazon** PS: I am rarely ever on Wattpad, so if you message me, I'm very unlikely to answer. I'm not ignoring you; I'm just not on here anymore. Please vote for this so more people will see it and be able to use this! Also, if you have any questions about writing, comment or message me and I'll help. I'll also add chapters at your request. If there's a particular aspect of writing you'd like advice on, I'll post it. It's marked as completed, but I add to it when I think of something else. "YOUR BOOK HELPED ME A LOT!!! THIS IS THE BEST BOOK FOR NEW WRITERS THAT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED ON WATTPAD" -dpe281 "This helps so much!! ^^ thank you thank you thank you!!" -Just_Katyftw "this was so useful thank you!" -Galaxysfaraway "That's so helpful! Thank you! :) " -fandomsmember Best Rating Yet: #2 in non-fiction!

The advice you will find here follows the Chicago Manual of Style which is widely used by American publishers. There are some variances in style from country to country (and even from American publisher to American publisher.) **It may be easier to search the Table of Contents, as there is no rhyme or reason right now to chapter order.**

Of course I'm going to bump into a guy and fall hopelessly in love but also hopelessly on my butt. WRONG! Okay not about the hopelessly in love part and maybe me falling on my butt. But that's how it's suppose to go. Well I know but that's not how my true love story went. Not at all. You want to know how it went? "Fairy." Ralph said pushing me against a locker. Oh look a handsome guy is here to save me! WRONG AGAIN! Jasper glances and walks away. I feel my heart shatter and I look down. Once again nobody is here to save me. Hi, Blaise. I'm fourteen and I'm gay. Welcome to my sweet eighth grade life. ~ By story might be rewritten, meaning the whole story. All the books fyi lol
