So first alive kamado family for this story plot plus the father and kagutsuchi knows sword fighting obviously so that in case he ever comes in contact with a demon then he'll be prepared and at times he helps giyuu when he's sent out on missions also they made sure that giyuu's crow wouldn't expose kagutsuchi to the other hashiras and master.
