NOTE FROM 5/4/25: This fanfiction is a part of the Rewrite Saga, a series of Mixels fanfiction that attempts to masterfully rewrite the infamous three last specials of the life-changing Mixels series. The order goes as Mixed-Up Monday (optional prequel fanfic that's under construction) -> TRQFTLM -> Every Heir Has Their Day (you are here) -> The Coporations Toll For Thee. The order is not strictly required to be followed, but it is highly recommended that it be followed (though Mixed-Up Monday is recommended to be ignored due to its unfinished progress) NOTE: I do not own Mixels and therefore this is not an official canon Mixels work of fiction and applies nothing to the overall series nor its overall lore. It's a project meant to elevate EKHID's standards of entertainment in which is nonofficial fanfiction. Only LEGO and Cartoon Network (more specifically Fred Tatasciore) owns the Mixels franchise. All rights reserved. Also, despite the description, this rewrite is NOT in 2nd POV. WARNING: The personalities of some mixels have been changed to either seem less unlikable or to be more accurate to their LEGO set descriptions. This story may also contain spoilers for the entire second-to-last special of Mixels known as "Every Heir Has Their Day" A life of a mixel is all good and jolly, until you get the fate of your whole family resting upon your shoulders now that you're recognized as the heir to your family's throne! Fortunately, someone like you is sure to have a whole new adventure at Mixopolis Middle School, especially making new friends along the way!

NOTE FROM 8/15/25: I've been having a hard time focusing on finishing this (not that writer's block ever helped me) so there's a basic summary of the full plot I came up with at the second part, and the unfinished first chapter as the first part. NOTE FROM 5/4/25: This fanfiction is a part of the Rewrite Saga, a series of Mixels fanfiction that attempts to masterfully rewrite the infamous three last specials of the life-changing Mixels series. The order goes as Mixed-Up Monday (optional prequel fanfic that's under construction, you are here) -> TRQFTLM (what this is the prequel to) -> Every Heir Has Their Day -> The Coporations Toll For Thee. The order is not strictly required to be followed, but it is highly recommended that it be followed (though Mixed-Up Monday is recommended to be ignored due to its unfinished progress) NOTE: It is recommended that you read this fanfiction before reading any of my three Mixels episode rewrite fanfiction, for this and those three are part of a series known as the "Candy's Mixelverse Saga". Yes, I'm very likely using "saga" incorrectly. It just sounds cool, okay? I also leave it to you whether this episode is in the style of an Ed Edd n Eddy episode or a regular Mixels Season 1 episode. Teslo teaches Volectro about static electricity. He tries it out for himself, only for him to overdo it and create a power outage (and causing the Lightbulb Sun to explode) that reached nearly every corner of Mixel Land, creating quite the "electric" surprise for everyone. Inspired by an episode of Ed, Edd, n Eddy called "Every Which Way But Ed" that featured nearly the same beginning. This is meant to be an explanation of the Electroids only zapping themselves during episodes before "Wrong Colors", "Changing A Lightbulb", "Epic Comedy Adventure", and beyond. Fred Tatasciore, LEGO, inc., and Cartoon Network own Mixels, not me. All rights reserved.

These are concepts of outtakes/bloopers that could've been the perfect form of comedy and could've saved the Mixels show.

NOTE: I do not own Mixels and therefore this is not an official canon Mixels work of fiction and applies nothing to the overall series nor its overall lore. It's a project meant to elevate QFTLM's standards of entertainment in which is nonofficial fanfiction. Only LEGO and Cartoon Network (more specifically Fred Tatasciore) owns the Mixels franchise. All rights reserved. WARNING: This fanfiction, much like nearly EVERY fanfiction I write, does not actually explain who the characters in the story are or the franchise they come from (the show "Mixels" in this case), so do be sure to watch the Mixels series on YouTube or Archive.com in order to properly get a better grasp at what is happening in the story (and I do best recommend watching an episode of Mixels in which the fanfiction is related to). The personalities of some mixels along with a few scenes have been changed to either seem less unlikable, to be more accurate to their LEGO set descriptions, or to fit the story more. This story may also contain spoilers for the entire finale of Mixels known as "QFTLM", some harassment (namely Krog towards Snoof & King Nixel towards Major Nixel), some implications of trauma, at least ONE instance of a swear word, and some pretty dark scenes. And because this fanfiction is a sequel to Mixels Rush, "Mixel Tornado Rush Hour", much like the canon counterparts of the two, this fanfic will take place a few years after the Mixels Rush rewrite. In life, there's many questions that have yet to be answered. Who was the one who created the world? How did the Mixel and Nixel species first begin? And are we all truly special..? One strange gift from what had seemed at the time to be the Maximum Mixel themself (or perhaps "himself") had offered an answer that has sparked hope in many... and yet, it kindled greed and war in many more, leaving more questions than it had promised answers.

NOTE: I do not own Mixels and therefore this is not an official canon Mixels work of fiction and applies nothing to the overall series nor its overall lore. It's a project meant to elevate NNGA's standards of entertainment in which is non-official fanfiction. Only LEGO and Cartoon Network (more specifically Fred Tatasciore) owns the Mixels franchise. All rights reserved. WARNING: The personalities of some mixels have been changed to either seem less unlikable or to be more accurate to their LEGO set descriptions. This story may also contain spoilers for the entire finale of Mixels known as "Nixel, Nixel, Go Away", some harassment, some pretty dark scenes, and one spoiler for "The Rewritten Quest For The Lost Mixamajig" in which this rewrite is connected to. It had been years ever since the Mixopolis Incident, years since the Nixels last wreaked their darkness and grayscale havoc upon all of Mixelkind. Or at least attempted to, considering how the Mixels' power of color, diversity, and mixing always constantly triumphed over the Nixels many, many times. And now that Mixopolis had been built and the Nixels were treated as more of an annoying pest than a legitimate threat (save for their military general and their king), it felt like all was finally calm and at peace. No more battles and brawling, no more screeching calls of the pests, and best of all, no more wars between Nixels and Mixels alike. But one day, many of the smaller Nixels seemed to have stopped their strange, annoying antics and started to.. stick posters of a new product on the walls of the buildings that had surrounded the city of Mixopolis. A new product that was sure to bring excitement and joy into the minds and hearts of Mixels young and old, but three young mixels knew there had been something wrong.. but what?

Return to the world of Mixels, in Mixels Unite: Retold! Three years after the events of the I-Cubit scam that shook the great city of Mixopolis, the colorful and creative Mixels have drifted apart, unity not something to be found amongst them as their Mixes become rare. With the help of a terrifying new power, King Nixel, leader of the destructive Nixel Armada, manages to take over the city and scatter the Mixels to the winds. However, hope is not all lost, and a mysterious monochrome Mixel rises to discover his past, stop the Nixel Armada, and unite all Mixels! Mixels Unite: Retold is a novelization of the unfinished story elements presented in Mixels Unite, a cancelled fan-game project that aimed to be a love letter to the Mixels franchise. This project is currently ongoing and will span ten chapter releases. Mixels (c) Cartoon Network and The LEGO Group
