[COMPLETED] While Thomas and Teresa were made to share one another's thoughts, Y/N and Newt were made to share one another's pain. They were just one of WICKED's many awful experiments in hopes of finding a cure. When they were younger and under constant surveillance by WICKED, the experiment was mostly harmless. Small cuts and bruises which could be felt by the other person weren't an issue. It was when WICKED chose to begin putting people in the maze, putting their lives at stake, causing them to endure more than just physical pain was when things became dangerous. After months and months of torturous experiments, Skylar will never be the same. After months and months of planning, Thomas, Newt, and the other remaining members of the Right Arm, formulated a plan to take back their abducted friends. Their plan almost worked completely but unfortunately, Minho slipped their fingers. Though Skylar is finally out of WCKD's clutches, her experience with them took its toll. Everyone has no idea of the pain she went through, but they can tell it definitely put its mark on her. Newt worries for her every day, wanting to help her but doesn't know how when he has his own problem growing each day. A group consisting of Thomas, Skylar, Newt, Frypan, Brenda, and Jorge head to the Last City in hopes of rescuing Minho from WCKD. Skylar is constantly haunted by her past and doesn't know if she should tell anyone about her struggles. With the help of an unexpected ally, the group formulates a plan to get Minho back. Without the two even realizing, Newt and Skylar grow closer through each other's own struggles. Newt fears what might become of him, but Skylar might be just the person he needs to survive. Along with some other kids, including an intriguing blonde headed boy, she escapes from the so-called "rescuers" and heads into the outside world not knowing what comes her way. Struggling with her memories, she must survive the dangers the world holds for her and her companions. She doesn't know why she has the ability to do certain things. For instance, knocking someone out in less then five seconds, or, knowing how to use a small pocket knife to take someone out. As she continues her journey she learns more about her past.
