Alexander Hamilton has not had an easy life. George and Martha are incredibly kind and willing to do anything for Alex, but Alex finds it difficult to trust them. He finds himself growing more and more depressed and angry, and nothing the Washingtons do can make him feel better. Alex finds himself desparate for acceptance, and ends up in a tumultuous friendship with none other than John Laurens, a gay boy rebelling against his homophobic parents. Will the Washingtons give up on Alex, or will Alex finally learn to trust again.
