Wendy is the final girl. Surviving is what she does. ***** Following the tragic Incident that claimed the lives of all her friends, Wendy Collier only has her status as a Final Girl to give her some sense of self--it tells her how to behave, how to feel, how to think. When nothing else helps, the only solution is to move to Alaska to stay with her estranged brother, who had his own reasons to exile himself, and they both know there are sacrifices they have to make for each other. Underneath the resentment, there's hurt. However, Wendy has been fighting for a long time, fighting for survival, fighting for meaning, fighting for closure, and this will not be yet another thing that's ripped away from her. No matter what she has to do. [[2X WATTPAD FEATURED STORY]] [[WATTYS 2023 SHORTLIST]] © 2022 caterina george // all rights reserved

This is not my story whatsoever... I just uploaded this for my convenience, my teacher made my class read this book. This book is full of surprises great book for a report. Once again, this is not my book and all credit goes to Mr. John Steinbeck. I uploaded this before but my computer was messing with me so I couldn't fix anything on it. There were a couple of readers who wanted me to continue so I just re-uploaded... I hope this comes to your convenience as well.

[COMPLETED] #1 Teen Mystery GET READY FOR A KILLER SUMMER! For sixteen year old Ryleigh Bennett, summer has always meant going away to a different sleep away camp and experiencing new things. She's excited to go to New Mexico where she expects to go hiking, swimming, and maybe even sleep outside under the stars. But as soon as she arrives on a small isolated island, it's obvious this is no ordinary camp. Suddenly, she is held captive with a group of other teenagers and they need to work together to escape. Ryleigh must push herself to new limits in the fight of her life in order to survive. REVIEWS: "From the first to the last page, the author creates an incredibly tense atmosphere that leaves the reader in constant anticipation about what's going to happen next. The desperate scramble for survival on unfamiliar terrain is often reminiscent of The Hunger Games. Each character brings something different to the table, from the caring Cal to headstrong Will, but is everyone who they say they are? Once you start reading this story, you won't want to stop." - DesignWizard "This book is one of my favorites! I love it! Your other books are amazing too!" - seejanereading "So much suspense! I thought this would be another typical teen fiction book but it's not. It's sooo good!" - JensanAplus "I'm OBSESSED! Love love love this book!" - Carriesgotone2

2020 WATTYS WINNER in NEW ADULT! Oliver Ausman has been given a second chance at life, but it's hard to feel grateful when he was the one trying to end it in the first place. Returning to his normal life after being released from the hospital is hard, especially since his parent's idea of normal is made up of dinner parties, prep school, fancy suits, and fake manners-- all paired with a complete disregard for the mental health of their firstborn. He's long been fed up with it, but the final straw is when he finds out that his "father" isn't actually his father at all. Oliver decides he's had enough of the perfect facade, so he packs a suitcase and grabs his younger brother, "borrowing" his mother's car to sneak off on a trip to find his biological father. But he never expected to pick up a girl with her own similar set of problems, to be followed across the country by a money-hungry pair of criminals, or most of all, to find out that maybe this life thing isn't as bad as he thought. * 4 Sample Chapters * When an eccentric old neighbour dies and names Violet March in his will, she is even more surprised than his estranged and spoiled family. To make matters stranger, she learns that all must attend a pretend murder-mystery weekend for any to claim a share of the inheritance. Being a good sport under constant scrutiny and suspicion becomes trickier when she finds herself torn between the romantic attentions of both the deceased's "favourite" grand-nephew and the charming black sheep of the family. Loyalty forces her to favour the former, but when it is the latter who inherits the bulk of the estate, a grave case of mistaken identities is revealed leaving Violet to determine whether pride and an unwillingness to be labelled a gold-digger may stand in the way of the love of a lifetime. *Cover from "Lake Louise, An Alpine Wonderland" by Norman Fraser, which is to the best of my research and knowledge in the Public Domain. *No part of this book may be reproduced or used in any manner without the express written permission of the author.
