The way the dark clouds rolled in and shrouded the sky in shadows as the sky cried it's sorrowful tears peaked her curiosity, ever since she was a child. She was fascinated by the lightning cracking across the black and grey gradient sky, striking anything that would fly into its path. Deep down her soul yearned to be out in the rain, feeling the cold droplets soak into her clothes and skin. But Mollie knew it wasn't safe for her to do so, she would be struck herself. One stormy night, a roof-shaking crash woke her from her slumber and she went up to investigate. Mollie- though she wasn't known to be the bravest- mustered up her courage and stepped out onto her apartment roof. Unexpected? Perhaps. A lone angel laid atop her roof, unconscious.
