After the death of her mother, Peyton becomes a loud, rebellious, angry teenager. With hatred towards her step-mother and her step-mothers child, she leaves the house after an argument. While Peyton wanders the forest near her house, she falls asleep and is then transported into Middle Earth where she meets The company. As she embarks on their journey with them, she eventually meets Thranduil, king of the woodland realm. Will she be able to become happy? Will she grow up and face her feelings regarding her mother?
