Kimberly Ducan has been the subject of experiments. It was day after day of being pumped full of serum after serum until she just couldn't take it anymore. She breaks out of the lab that she was being held in, but the ones who claimed to "own" her won't let her go so easily. Asking help from the Justice League, claiming there's a monster wreaking havoc around their lab. Batman sends members of the Team: Beast Boy (Garfield Logan), Miss Martian (Megan Morse), Superboy (Conner Kent), Nightwing (Dick Grayson) and Robin (Jason Todd) are sent to Brazil to take care of the problem. It was there that they discover that they had been lied to. Kimberly tells the Team what was going on in the lab with conformance from Miss Martian. The Team take the scientists into custody and Kimberly is taken back to the United States with the Team. Though the Team has accepted her, she still feels like she an outsider.
