After an almost fatal car accident due to her father's wicked ways, Onika Maraj is left blind. The 18 year old was unfortunately left with lifelong injuries, resulting in her long term memory loss. A long 15 years slowly drags by before she's reunited with her ex girlfriend, and also a survivor of the car crash, Beyoncé Knowles, who she happens to remember nothing about. Pained by fate, Beyoncé takes that as a sign and decides to pursues her ex lover in hopes of tapping into Nicki's heart and mind to get her to remember what was and will always be there. Presenting to you a tale teaching one patience, understanding, and genuine love.

Nicki wakes up in an infirmary with no recollection of where she is or even who she is. She finds out very soon the world around her is not what it seems, especially with the head of the institution Giselle, who does her best to avoid her at all costs. Nicki searches high and low to remember who she was, why she's there, and what purpose she serves; and maybe most importantly, why Giselle refuses to give her any attention.

Dr. Knowles is a AP history teacher that teaches at Martin High school. This is her first year teaching and she comes in the middle of the school year. Once there she meets the school's menace Onika Maraj. Onika is a troubled teen, she's amazingly talented but the abyss of her dark past hinders her from what there is to come. Dr. Knowles and Onika immediately bump heads but what happens when they both sense something past their simultaneous hatred they have for one another.
