Ang kaniyang nobelang Salamisim ay tungkol sa pagmamahalan ng isang dalaga na anak ng gobernadorcillo at ng isang binatang nabibilang sa samahan na naglalayong pabagsakin ang pamahalaan. Nakilala ni Faye ang lahat ng karakter na kaniyang pinangalanan. Naranasan niya ang lahat ng eksena na binuo ng kaniyang malikhaing kaisipan.
