Imagine Loki would have been locked away in a cell at the Avengers' headquarters and not in Asgard, because he promises the Avengers to change if they would not bring him back there. Will he keep his promise? Or is it all a trick? NOTE I am planning to rewrite the Fanfiction in the near future, so if you want to read the new version I'll start to upload soon.

"I can't breathe.." ---- False hopes, false smiles, false mirths... Loki learned to use facades since he was but a mere child. He knew his father's disapproving gazes. He knew the whispers amongst the servants. He knew his brother's neglecience. He knew his mother's painful watch. Loki hid his feelings well. Beneath playful banters, mischiefs, and rebellions.. Loki knew things he wasn't supposed to know. And so. He can't breathe.

After the attack on New York, Loki's mind is deteriorating, due to mental manipulation. Thor decides it best to search for help on Midgard. He won't let Loki go completely insane.

While the tired Avengers celebrated with a nice kabob, Loki breaks free from his prison transport, without harming anyone. Thor must decide what to do when they find him.

Loki has served his punishment. Well most of his punishment and had been sent to earth. No one is not really sure whether Loki has changed or not. However, the outcome is something no one had suspected.

(Book 1) A new villain is threatening the Avengers. During a fight that the Avengers are bound to lose, something happens. Loki. He saves them, but let's just say they are not to trusting. Loki needs their help. He is ageing backwards and he doesn't know how to stop it, or who caused it. When he turns into a five year old, will they know how to get him back? Before it's to late? This new threat has something more she want, and she will torture Loki to get it. Something happens, and Loki does something he never has before. He becomes more heroic than anyone ever thought possible. Will the Avengers trust him enough to make him part of something huge? This is all part of her plan, to destroy the Avengers once and for all. This is just the beginning. Disclaimer: I do not own Marvel or the Avengers. This is a Fanfiction. I mean, kind of, but I don't think that's all there is to it. Peter, Steve, and Tony Stark find themselves in a movie theater. Aching from pain and the lack of answers, they need to piece together their memories while watching trailers of their lives and others. But, paying attention to that is hard work when you're in constant pain from whatever drug the kidnappers put you on. (My bold and italics finally started working y'all! I'm not going to get rid of the old A/N complaining about them though, just for old time's sake.) [OLD] To the younger me who absolutely hated these stories: Fuck you.
