Archer Morales has never believed his life was meant to be anything other than pure hell in which every minute feels like a struggle to keep breathing. That's why he's so keen on ending it. Not because he wants to, but only because he has no idea how to stop the dark, intrusive thoughts or the crippling depression that's always kept him in a chokehold. At this point, Archer has all but accepted that this is simply how he is - broken. He doesn't know if he even wants help or how to ask for it, and admitting he needs it when Archer's own mother has demons of her own to battle doesn't seem like an option. Things are hard enough keeping the family coffeehouse running and making sure Archer's little sister, Rosie, never learns the horrid truth about what happened to their father - or how much Archer feels responsible for it. Just as he's sure he's mapped out his next steps to permanently solve his problems, the last person in the world Archer expects to make him think twice enters the picture: Hadley Jamison. He doesn't know what to make of the popular girl who always seems to be smiling and is way too determined to become his friend. Archer is overly suspicious of Hadley and her intentions at first, but the walls he's spent so long building to keep himself safe start coming down much quicker than he would've thought. Despite all the change - and some of that change Archer can admit is good - there's still one thing he's certain of: nothing good lasts forever. At least, that's what he's always told himself. But now that the blinders are coming off and Archer realizes he's not as alone as he'd thought, he can't help but be terrified of what will happen if the very thing he never really thought existed - love - is snatched away from him. And possibly the hardest lesson Archer is about to learn is that while you can't run from your past, you can change your future - even if you always felt like you never deserved one.

No where to go, on the road Faylyn is on her way to finding her place in life. After a misunderstanding, prison and an argument with her parents, they kicked her to curb without even wishing her luck. Without a high school diploma or anything to keep her tied to the city, she left. Thankfully, with the car and clothes she had paid for, she headed South with the hope of finding her place in the world, a meaning for her existence. It was then she found herself in an uncommon situation, alone, in the middle of nowhere with something that needs more help than she does. Yes, this is a romance novel. It's more of slow building love rather than a raunchy, extremely passionate one.

"What the hell!?" I look at my husband and supposedly best friend on his desk. "Baby, it's not what it looks like" He gets up and tries to pull his pants up. "Save it! This is why you have been distant with me, because you were seeing-her! I can't believe you!" He starts walking towards me "Please baby I just...I don't know it was a mistake I swear!" He looks me in the eye and tries to grab my hands, but I slap them away from me. "No! The only mistake made was trusting you!" I turn around and walk away "Be ready to sign the divorce papers Nick!" With that I sprint to the elevator with tears falling freely down my face. ❀✿❀ THANK YOU FOR 100K READS! 9/9/17 ILY ALL SO MUCH! 1mil reads !! Sierra Lancaster has had an agonizingly mediocre life. She grew up in a happy home, made loyal friends, graduated college, and is now pursuing her dream of running her own bakery. Boring, right? A story like this wouldn't be one for the books. At least not until you bring a hot neighbour into the mix. A tall, brooding, shredded (like, wash your clothes on those abs shredded), and wildly successful sports agent. Interested yet? It gets better. Said neighbour isn't just a rando, but Sierra's childhood nemesis that made her formerly chubby days a living hell. Now we're talking, aren't we? Holden Rey has always been the golden boy. Holden...golden...you following? You'd think the bitchy universe would do its job and throw some karma his way but to no avail. Not only has he got it all, but he knows it too. He also still has it out for Sierra and resumes being a jack-ass of epic proportions (and his ass ain't his only epic proportion) as soon as he realizes who the new girl next door is. It's the same old story with these two except this time, there's unwilling attraction and sexual tension underneath all the hate. Is it just lust or does the bitchy universe actually have a plan? So maybe this story is one for the books after all. *A hilarious, enemies-to-lovers, romantic standalone. Rated 18+ due to mature content. All rights reserved to TheFeveredBookaholic.*
