First off. Mermaids exist. Kirishima is a Merman, an Alpha Merman. They are incredibly possessive and protective to their Omegas. Once a Alpha is seduced and wants to mate with an Omega, it will happen in a matter of days before the Alpha turns feral. Bakugou Katsuki is Half Mer-Half Human. His mother found love with a human years ago and the Mer race did not accept this, they banished her to the human world. The couple had two children, one boy and one girl. Bakugou fell in love with the sea at a young age and now works at a Mermaid research and housing facility a few miles off the coast of Japan. His sister is Yaoyorozu Momo. Their mother died after 13 years of being on the surface, their father died shortly after. Bakugou is 22 years old and he works in a huge (mostly submerged with a roof above water for helicopter landings and docking sites) research building. They take in injured Mermaids and nurse them back to health. A few of them choose to stay on for their lives.

Bakugo has never been a fan favorite in his classmates' eyes. The only true friend he's ever had is Kirishima. Then when he falls ill with a bad fever, he starts to realize what everyone truly thinks of him and ends up in a long mental struggle about himself. "How come Kirishima's my friend?.." *Note: This story is kinda long. It builds over time so don't expect a quick, simple read. I apologize, that's just how I write. Kirishima always wanted to help people at a young age. He couldn't get a job before, so he resulted to using YouTube. He began his video generalized. He talked about how to deal with a loss of motivation, how to be happier, and his videos were later like Q&As where people asked him to help them with a situation, and he would make a video on it. He didn't think this type of career would get him far, but he was surprised. Now updating twice a week, and making videos with his friends, he got known for helping people. Soon enough, he gets to help one of his inspirations, ExplosionMurder Cooks and gets closer to him as a result. He gets more involved in the process, but he doesn't mind.
