Everything falls apart when Noah's two band members Charlie and Ragen break up, Ragen the lead singer leaves in a huff. Noah hears Sam in what she thinks is an empty stairway, suddenly things seem like they will turn around. Sam is running from her fears, she doesn't have much left in her home town so she comes to Boston in hopes for a fresh start. Little dose she know a boy hears her singing in a stairway and her "fresh start" could get rotten very quickly.

Tuesday is going into her second gab year, she desperately wants to go to college and leave Denver behind. That's why she calls the number on the card a random stranger gives to her, that's why she goes to meet with an FBI agent, that's why she tells the agent that she can things before they happen and see the past of things and people she's never seen before. It turns out four other kids told the agent their story too, now Tuesday has to live with these four kids with enhancements like hers. There's more here than what meets the eye and yet Tuesday can't figure it out, she works on cold cases day and night until a killer seems to get to close.
