Inuyasha ends up being pinned to a tree by a dead priestess who has such hatred for him... after 50 years a girl named Viper went into the past and found herself in the Forest of Inuyasha. She breaks the spell and ends up on a quest to find the shards after learning what happened to it. Along the way they find friends to join them on this journey. Viper must figure out her feelings for a certain half demon.
