That was, at least, until the biggest street racing event ever. Chaos swarmed the area, everyone fled in a fit of panic, leaving Lance with only one way of escaping. Keith's car. The two form an unlikely, strange bond that flourishes into something more, the something that Lance has been missing his whole life up until this moment.

Keith, now the leader of Voltron after Shiro's disappearance, doesn't even have the time to grieve. Now, he has the pressure of leading the universes' defenders, the pressure of his past, the pressure of dealing with Allura's hatred, and the pressure of being the Galra that's leading Voltron. He has no one to turn to. All that he does have that's keeping him sane are his meds. He feels like he's drowning under all this weight.
