Todoroki forgets the feeling of being loved, he ignores it tries to bury it in the back of his mind... after the years he had with his mother... he goes to UA to become the best hero... better than All might... better than his father.. and to show his father he doesn't need his left side to show he's a great hero... but when he goes to UA he finds exactly the opposite.
