It all started with the headaches. Harry's fine, he thought just so so tired. My own rendition of the iconic Cold Blue Water fic.

Louis knows about beauty; the combination of qualities that pleases the aesthetic senses. He creates that combination every day in the garments he designs while studying fashion at uni. The cut of the design, the color of the fabric, the intricacy of the stitching; it all comes together to create something beautiful. When the science student with the long legs and dimpled smile agrees to model for him, Louis decides he's found beauty personified. Harry just thinks Louis needs someone to show him how beautiful he is. (please keep in mind that this has not been edited as I am just posting it over here for the people who asked for it)

When Louis Tomlinson finds Harry Styles sitting in an alley, he doesn't at all expect Harry to be different... or different in a nonhuman way at least. Until his bestfriend Liam informs him that Harry is a hybrid. A cat hybrid to be exact. Will Louis keep Harry with him, or will he send Harry out on his own? Louis and Harry grew up together, and were best friends even in their earliest memories. They are 12 years old when Louis has to move to Australia, and they never expect anything to be the same again. They make a pact, a promise to one another, put it in a bottle and throw it out to sea. They promise to get back in touch if any of them ever find the bottle again. A silly, childish pact that isn't so silly when you're only twelve years old. Seven years later, fate turns in their favour. Louis stumbles upon an old, green bottle and Harry just happens to be in Australia as an exchange student. They spend time together catching up, but no amount of time can make up for the seven years they spent apart. It's almost cruel when you realise the one thing most important to you has been in front of you all the while, yet you never realise.

No one can expect you to be a womanizer or role model if they don't know you're actually Harry Styles. Louis has no clue why Harry has been in his room a lot. He has no clue why Harry's always wearing tight skinny jeans instead of the baggy ones he knew the curly boy loved. But what happens when Louis walks in to ask Harry a question and finds the boy's Tumblr open? How is he supposed to handle this? Not only is his best mate living a secret online life, but he is suffering depression and has been hurting himself in so many ways. Louis can't confront him, so he does what he thinks is the right thing. He starts a blog, and starts messaging Harry anonymously. Harry seems a bit cheerier in the morning, and even starts smiling again. But what happens when they fall in love with each other, but Harry doesn't know that "CleverUsername" is actually his best mate? With love, drama, hate, and depression, can anyone ever be happy with the one they love? And most importantly, can Louis learn how to save a life?

Detention is supposed to be a punishment, but for Louis and Harry, it's the start of something beautiful. Unfortunately, what starts off as a harmless love affair quickly takes a turn for the worse. Through all the stereotypes, judgments, family issues, and demons from the past, Louis and Harry struggle to stay strong. What happens in detention, stays in detention. [NOTE: I began writing this book in 2011 when I was 13 years old. There are many grammatical errors, cringe-worthy moments, and plot inconsistencies. Obviously, my writing has improved immensely since 2011, so please feel free to check out any of my more recent works instead. This book is not representative of my present-day writing abilities. I would prefer to delete this entirely (and its sequel), but there have been many readers who have expressed their love and appreciation for this book despite its flaws.
