A sequel to my last Gumlee fanfic a cold shoulder)) This story takes place after they graduate and are settled down.

Someone's been harassing the people of the Candy kingdom, I guess it's up to gumball to find out who it is and stop them

Gumball moves to a new school where he's paired up with Marshall a kind hearted punk to help him and live with him.

Gumball is a little worried about the weird things going on in the kingdom, creatures breaking in, candy people reporting weird figures on the streets, the gumball guardians activating even though no threat is visible. Pepps tells him there's nothing to worry about but he still can't get it out of his head. So he goes to one of the people he can trust the most, Marshall lee, for some help to solve what's really going on.

A small gumlee story that I'm not so sure where I'm going with yet. It's a college Au, all of the characters are still their wacky AT selves in terms of humanization but some haven't met yet at the time of the story. Gumball is a second year biochemistry student who's set in his ways to avoid any unnecessary obstacles during his college life, when suddenly his whole plan is flipped on his side. The dorms get too full in the new semester and his request to keep it a one man room is rejected. Gumball is paired with Marshall lee a second year undecided student who creates just the types of obstacles Gumball wished to avoid.
