An alternate ending to Lodestar (Caution, may contain Lodestar/Nightfall spoilers!) (But you might have to read Nightfall to get it. You'll see.) "How long have I been asleep?" Sophie wondered aloud, searching for the last memory she'd had. It took only a few seconds for her to realize that she didn't even know who she was. * * * Sophie is an amnesiac. The doctors say that her memories will come back soon, but her worries are far from confined to that of her memories. Apparently, before losing her memories, Sophie agreed to pick whether she loved Keefe or Fitz by the end of summer... and now summer's nearly over. To make matters worse, no one will tell Sophie what happened to cause her amnesia, only referring to it as the "accident." Something's going on...but will Sophie figure it out in time?

It's Spring and the Black Swan are throwing a masquerade party with the help of Sophie and friends. Sophie wants to show her friends how wonderful Spring could be. She just didn't prepare her friends for a wonderfully ludicrous week full of magic, fashion, and singing. During this time Sophie and her friends get a blast from the past. Something that they never saw coming.

The ever present thought that Keefe was gone... and she had lost him for good. But that couldn't be the truth... ... right?
