(I DO NOT OWN THE COVER PICTURE, Credit to Raven-by-the-sea on DeviantArt) The world is unfair. It's always been unfair and adding Quirks into the mix made it even more unfair. You can get the very short end of the stick and be quirkless; usually the helpless. You can have a sucky quirk; just seen as weak A quirk that makes you look like a villain; people fear and ridicruel you. Those who use their quirk for evil; just feared. And then the lucky bunch with really good quirks. Most becoming heros; The praised and glorified. Shoved into the spotlight for everyone to see succeed...or fail. Success or failure. Success... Or failure? That is the question. !!WARNING!! Possible trigger warnings to bullying, parents fighting, suicide etc. ??Manga spoilers??

"Dreams, after all, are insubstantial things, like mist itself..." - Stephen King It all began with a storm. Nothing out of the ordinary. Storms were natural. Falling trees were natural. The mist, however? There was nothing natural about that mist. Shinso Hitoshi lived a relatively quiet life, living with his father and kid sister in a small, rural town, right by the lake. As most artists were, he was conflicted about his path in life, but when that tree crashed through his studio window, he honestly thought it was a sign. (L/N) (F/N). Girl next door to boot. Shinso's middle school crush, and way out of his league. So imagine his surprise when he discovers she's related to his less-than-friendly next door neighbour. Needing supplies himself, Shinso agreed to drive the pair into town to the market, but how was he to know everything would turn upside down? Who in the world would expect something so unnatural, so disturbing, to occur? It all began with a storm... ...and it all ended with the mist... . . . . . SHINSO HITOSHI X READER QUIRKLESS HORROR AU Based on the Novella, 2007 film and 2017 Netflix series 'The Mist', created by Stephen King. This is a homage and I am in no way claiming ownership of this idea. ⚠️WARNINGS⚠️ •Strong language •Sexual References/Activity •Detailed Violence •Strong Horror Themes •Character Death

WARNING: i came back to give this story an ending after several years, so technically speaking it is not and never will be complete in the traditional sense. read at your own risk or whatever ------- You've joined class 1A after an unamed student was mysteriously expelled for mysterious reasons (*cough*Mineta*cough*). Navigating through high school is tricky under normal circumstances, but it becomes exceptionally hard when a) you have superpowers, b) everyone else has superpowers, too, and c) you just transferred from a no-name public school in the middle of America to one of the top hero schools in Japan. Plus, there's this purple-haired guy with purple eyes and he's? Kind of dreamy?? So at least there's that. ---------------- A/N: yeah everyone refers to you with they/them pronouns 'cause i want everyone to be able to read this story and enjoy it to its full extent and stuff also this is my first fanfic, please be gentle with me

• the specific phobia of isolation; a morbid fear of being egotistical, or a dread of being alone or isolated. • "Y/n, I've..." He was on the verge of sobbing. His distant and stoic facade that he built up around himself, a barrier, was crashing down like waves of the ocean. Shinsou gripped my waist even tighter, as if he let go I'd fade away. "I've missed you so much." The words barely came off as a whisper, but it echoed so loudly in my ears that I felt like I was going to faint. "Please don't.. leave me again." - - - • an "outcast," his unlucky quirk labeling him as "evil and villainous," and his childhood friend that left him a few years ago suddenly makes an appearance. • • and once he has her back, he's realizes something: he's never letting her go. • - little bit of textfic - - - contains: wholesomeness strong n' mature content harsh language all art in the story does not belong to me unless stated otherwise! bnha characters belong to Kōhei Horikoshi you're your own person i only own the plot (and occasional ocs) - slight monoma x reader - slight izuku x reader - bisexual reader • warning: possessive shinsou , , , (+ stalker-ish --)

#1 Story in "Shinso" 5/27/2018 #3 in "My" 1/18/2019 #3 in "Hero" 01/02/2019 #145 in "bnha" 8/20/2018 #2 in "shinsoxreader" 7/4/2018 You shrink into the background as your classmates talked around you. Weeks into the school year and you still haven't made any friends. Your quirk is a decently powerful one, but it seems, menacing. "You should join the villains!" they used to yell at you in primary school. "Go back to the shadows (Y/N)!" they said in anger when you try to come out and make friends. You want friends, but you don't think you deserve that luxury. So you stay in your corner. Will you ever find someone who understands?

"Why did you pick me up?" I asked again, Shinso pulled the car over somewhere I didn't recognize. We were in the middle of no where, nothing but fields around for as far as the eye could see. "Are you going to kill me and dump my body in a ditch?" I asked, exaggerating my tone in faux fear. "Maybe," Shinso shrugged as he took the keys out of the ignition, swinging the lanyard around his hand. "Or maybe, I took you here to tell you that, maybe, you're not completely repulsive." I shut down the grin that was already spilling to my features, "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked. My imagination was wandering on where this could be going, and I didn't attempt to reign it in. Finally things appeared to be going my way. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [Cover created by @Sweettner]
