On a July night in 1791, Maria Reynalds knocks on the wrong door. This causes history to play out in a very different, more pleasant way. Until 1798 when another scandal rocks Hamilton's life. When an old friend of Eliza's appears in New York City, Alexander soon realizes there is much more than a simple friendship between them. Alexander loves Eliza and wants nothing more than her happiness. This desire, coupled with his numerous and deep insecurities, may do more harm than good.
