I am a singer. I sing at parties, I sing at bars, I even sing at school plays sometimes even though nobody at school likes my singing voice, or doesn't show it anyway. I live in a small apartment with dad and my younger brother, James. Dad is curently unemployed and is looking for a job, but in the meantime the money that I make singing at bars and clubs has to pay the rent, even though I'm only sixteen and way underage to even be inside the places that I have come to know so well. It's not the ideal way to make money, but it let's me sing and I love it. However, when I get an invitation to audition for The Voice, I run out of work so quickly that it's kind of sad. And as if it wouldn't be enough pressure performing in front of the whole world and the typical judges, it's even harder this year since it's the 50th anniversary. They've changed the judges to the five most intimidating boys in the world: Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and Niall Horan. I'm not gonna get in.
