I got this nagging idea in my head... What if Geralt had made a different last wish? What then? This is a short story about fate and destiny and how one man will always be trapped by it. Romance is not a focus in this fic. The style is more faithful to Sapkowski's view of the world. It contains a few gory descriptions.

Based on the original Netflix series, The Witcher. Each chapter relates to its corresponding episode. Excerpt: The story that you all have come to know, and respect is all true. That of Geralt of Rivia, his friendships, encounters, love, and of course, destiny... But what if there is a piece of his tale that had been forgotten? Elizabeth Montgomery starts her day at the Renaissance Festival with her best friend and after getting lost and wondering off into the forest she somehow ends up in an entirely different world. Knowing no one and without knowledge on how anything works, including the fact that there are monsters lurking everywhere, being found by the Witcher is her best bet at survival. Once they get to know each other will she still want to go home? A/N: I am really bad at summaries but thats the basic concept.
