Shepherds, in our society were considered a curse. I never knew why. The only thing I've ever heard is, if a Shepherd lays his eyes on your uncovered face, his misfortune will be shared with you and you will be doomed for a lifetime. Year 1850, the era of numerous superstitions and social injustice where the poor and so-called lower classes people are molested by the wealthier ones. Among them the most despised are Shepherds who are considered a misfortune to the society. But what happens when the Chief's daughter falls in love with a Shepherd?

Bowen was a lonely girl who filled her days by running down rural country roads. But that quickly changed when she discovered a decomposing body in an old shack. But, somehow, he wasn't dead. In fact, he was getting better, his fatal wounds healing themselves from beyond the grave.
