A book of poems that will be updated weekly. I am participating in Poets pub's poem a week challenge in an attempt to get the writing gears moving again and to teach myself to write even when I'm not particularly inspired. I'd be delighted if you decide to come along for the ride. (2020) Highest ranking: #16 in poetry

A collection of poems grown from myth and mind. Gods, monsters, and mortal men in a variety of poetic forms. Narratives and allegories as deeply rooted in the psyches of modern humanity, as in the civilizations that planted those seeds. Songs from deep within our souls to celebrate and lament, to reflect and to heed. From Arthurian heroes like Galahad and Merlin to misunderstood monsters like Medusa and Grendel, each poem tells a tale. The turmoils and challenges of each archetype provide insights into our own lives. The lessons learned span the range of human experience. The songs sung aim for our hearts and souls and strive to entertain. They are written for us all to appreciate, but most of all, to enjoy.

This is simply a book of haikus that I have written. At first I focused on things related to nature, but slowly my poems became more diverse. Read it if you want. cover made by me on canva.com All rights reserved. Please do not copy any part of this work. Thanks!

This is a collection of my writings from November 2018. It's a continuation of "Poetry" and "Poetry and Writes", but will be much shorter. I'll try to write something each day of the month and post as I go--even if what I've written sucks. Who cares? A good poem is hard to force but I'm going to stick to this challenge anyway. Sometimes I've found November is the time of year when things begin to feel heavier. Small issues are bigger than they should be. The weather isn't sure what to do, so it settles on overcast. The novelty of a new year has worn off, for those of us in school. Yes, November, I can't say I've missed you. (Much.) cover made by me on canva.com All rights reserved. Neither salt nor sugar settles on your tongue. Only this blood of mine does. Neither I nor she fills up your heart. Only these tears of mine do. [POETRY/PROSE]
