But as her past catches up with her, more and more secrets are stripped away, leaving a young woman reminiscent of a lonely thirteen-year-old abandoned by everyone she loved. Augusta Riverwood is the exact opposite: frightened, shy, and little more then a bookworm and nerd. Certainly she is pretty, but not eye-catching like Kat. And certainly not reckless and a daredevil. But for once, Kat actually notices August and invites her to join her and her gang on a haunted tour. Things turn upside down once a serial killer is on the loose and order and chaos seem to be nothing. For them, it's only kill or be killed. Their history is not helping either.
