Fiercely independent Genevieve had her whole life planned out until her fiance dumped her and her finances fell apart. Living with her friend Janet until the college semester ends, Genevieve is offered an internship that could solve all of her financial problems. The only trouble is, the internship requires her to repair the relationship between the press and Prince Alexandre of Montalivet by pretending to be his girlfriend. With no other way to fund her schooling and time running out, Genevieve accepts the position, but quickly learns there is more to being a princess-in-training than meets the eye. And when she develops real feelings for her fake boyfriend, she has to decide which is more important: her job and her good name, or telling the prince the truth. ~*~ I'm incredibly proud to have been featured on: Community Curator list by _jnicole_ - February, 2022 StoriesUndiscovered - September, 2020

**2016 WATTYS WINNER FOR VISUAL STORYTELLING** Letting her appearance fall to the wayside and desperate to find a reason for her life, Marilyn sits half naked in an Urgent Care examination room with a mysterious skin itch. If she can survive the humiliation of being treated by a sexy male nurse while unraveling the hidden drama woven throughout the hospital staff, Marilyn might leave the hospital cured far below the surface of her skin. NURSE McSEXY is a hilariously enhanced true story (with a healthy dose of fiction) about my mortifying experience involving an allergic reaction, Urgent Care and a sexy male nurse. It was an evening in which one of my greatest fears was encountered--only to reveal my better self on the other side of humiliation. This humorous tale is definitely worth calling in sick for! TO CLARIFY: Despite the title, this is not a tale about a hot and sweaty romance. I mean--I wish it was since it's based on a true story. Unfortunately (depending on how you look at it), my life is a lot more on the belly laughing side of the spectrum than the steaming up mirrors side. Just saying.

Sir Valeir Beaufort, vampire nobility, is on the run. His only companion? A woman trained to hunt and kill his kind. The betrayal that forced Valeri to flee for his life is only a small part of a much larger conspiracy. The tentative peace between humans and the supernatural creatures that live in Samodevia's shadows is under threat. Who is it that wishes to push the kingdom into war, and what is their final purpose? *** [Sequel to SERPENT'S KISS] Ira Hale is branded a traitor and a killer for saving the life of a vampire. Hunted by the people she once served, Ira must uncover the truth behind the atrocities at Beaufort Manor in order to save her friends and clear her own name. Sir Valeri Beaufort, Ira's once-employer and now sort-of family, joins her quest, seeking vengeance against the people who burned his life to the ground. The Kingdom in Samodevia is in turmoil. Ira and Valeri must navigate a treacherous road in their search for answers. Allies are not easily told apart from foes - all approach with smiling faces, but may hide knives behind their backs. Echoes of oncoming war find their way to the Kingdoms Below, into the ears of the Queen of Hel and her court of powerful misfits. When Gabriel Todd returns with news of treachery in the lands Above and asks for help in saving a human soldier who carries Gabriel's soul, Hel must decide whether to become involved in Samodevia's politics or retain neutrality. And where, all wonder, is Samodevia's Queen? *** Cover: @blackroguex Book II in the "Kingdom at the End of the World" series. *** Content warning: This story contains graphic depictions of violence and death.

Delena is determined to have a good time at summer camp and forget about her backstabbing ex-best-friend Mei. But when Mei shows up at camp too, suddenly revenge looks a lot more appealing than forgetting. * * * * * As far as 17-year-old Delena Torres is concerned, friendship is nothing more than a quick way to get hurt. This has been her mindset for the past two months anyway, ever since her best friend Mei ditched her and started hanging out with her arch enemy. She's more than ready to spend summer vacation alone-- then her parents surprise her by signing her up for a photography course at Camp Create It, the summer camp she and Mei always dreamed of attending. Still, even if she has to be surrounded by other campers, Del's determined not to get attached to anyone. She'll spend the summer by herself, honing her photography skills and forgetting about Mei. Easy, right? Maybe, if it wasn't for the fact that her quirky cabin-mate seems deadset on becoming friends. Or if she could stop running into the cute guy from the kitchen staff. Oh, and if she wasn't in the middle of a prank war after one stupid attempt at revenge, since Mei just happened to show up at camp, too. Yeah, this "lone wolf" thing might be harder than she thought.
