Growing up in a bad childhood, and with a bad family that's finally starting to depart, Mabel and Dipper are sent to Gravity Falls as their parents divorce. After a dreaded plane crash, the Pines twins are separated from their parents, whom are later found dead, and quickly thrown into a foster home. The twins jump from home to home as a odd pair, because of Dipper's cold apathy and Mabel's aggressive behavior. But as July, 2012 nears, the twins meet an unusual old man, who claims to be their great uncle. They weren't exactly given a choice on whether they were to go, but at least it would be the two of them together. But as soon as they arrive, the summer begins and they realize that their whole lives could be conceited and fake; a huge lie that even they didn't know they were apart of.
