Felix Reynolds, a university student with a sixth sense, has to uncover the truth about the past he has no memory of in order to unravel what really killed his family, and keep himself and his friends alive in the process. ***** Felix Reynolds is your typical nineteen-year-old guy - least if you don't account for the whole seeing dead people thing. He swears it's not as exciting as it sounds, and it's nothing too scary either. That is, until he starts university. His sister, Annabel, who happens to be dead, has helped him manouvere through life fairly easily up until now, but not even she can explain some of the strange things that are starting to happen. After meeting someone else who claims to be a spirit talker, things start turning really weird, really fast. Mysterious entities start following Felix, other spirits begin giving him grizzly warnings, and the accident that killed his family and wiped his memory may actually be nothing of an accident at all. Felix Reynolds is your typical nineteen-year old guy, but he can't keep up that charade much longer. ***** (Book One of The Posies Trilogy) ★ Watty Awards 2019 winner ★

After the world ended and most of the population had died out, a rumour began to spread amongst those who were left. Stories about a better world, a safe haven, far north. They say it's just like the old world, but why would people want to live like that if that's what killed them in the first place? Mai never tried to find Elim, despite everyone telling her to. She didn't understand why people would want to go back to their old ways even after they've witnessed the consequences. Instead, she walks. She walks for days aimlessly, collecting old things from people who have died, and seeing what's left of the world. She never had a purpose for living, and she never never needed one; until she stumbles across a dying man in a supermarket.

It hurts when someone leaves your life for good. Someone who was once a big part of it. It's easy to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start moving forward. Really it's just one foot in front of the other, everyday, all day. But it's not that easy to realise that deep down you're still broken because you never gave yourself the time to heal. Moving on is not about trying to bury the past. It's about acceptance. A girl named Irisa and a boy named Henry learn this lesson the hard way. And this is their story. Of hardships, of friendships, of breaking and hurting and healing. Of learning to let the love in again. All Right Reserved. Copyright © 2019 by Syeda Zainab Salam.
