A Brooding CEO. A Lively Girl. The Perfect Love Story? Not really. The marriage they are in speaks nothing of the whirlwind romance they had once shared, the snippets of which remain in a mere flashbacks. The chase has died down, revealing their status differences much more than they had expected. Belonging to a huge, dark family - Arnav Singh Raizada finds the demons of his past returning as secrets of a forced marriage, a misunderstood affair and an illegitimate child is revealed. Amidst all, can he and his love survive the torrid of reality? Will his happiness, his Khushi ever come back to him? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Based on the Indian show Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. There would be slight references but one doesn't have to be excessively familiar with it to understand this story. If you enjoy angst with my (drastic) efforts to bring realism - this is for you.

Arranged marriage was an age-old story that Khushi, the youngest of the infamous Gupta family, who revolutionized and dominated the trading market for generations, knew well. For it was the only thing she heard growing up. But that neither prepared her nor comforted her as she got ready that morning. It was an important day, a day where she would trade her surname for a new one, her silence for a new chance, her respect for a new hope, her life for another. It was a day of contracts, both new and old. As she hid behind the traditional red shawl, knowing that the whole world would be watching her, waiting to pounce, she wondered why her mother never told her about any of the good marriages. The ones that worked out. The ones that had hope. The ones that had love. Probably because they don't exist, Khushi thought to herself. Only, destiny had believed otherwise. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a stand alone story that has no connection with the original show, Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon, except for the names of the lead characters. All other content of this story belongs strictly to the author, Archi. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- #1 in ArnavSinghRaizada - 04/12/2019 #1 in KhushiKumariGupta - 18/01/2020 #1 in ArHi - 20/05/2020

Sometimes a love is so potent that it affects everything around them and sometimes a love story requires a necessary diversion to reassess itself. This is not entirely the story about the multimillionaire fashion mogul Arnav Singh Raizada and the fiercely independent breadwinner Khushi Kumari Gupta. It's about their influences on a love story of their siblings. Of the meek, sensitive and capable Akash Raizada who has had every concern taken care of. Of the silent yet perceptive Payal Gupta who knew not to interfere. It's a world where Arnav and Khushi learn that love might be beyond their understanding. Where Payal is more than Akash's love interest. Where Khushi is more than what Arnav imagined. (The characters belong to 4Lions Production and their television show, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon)
