Everyone has a hard life but for young Dakota Winters life was harder than you could ever imagine. The Winters lived in a small house in a peaceful meadow you would think that that was nice but this was during the time of the Great Depression. This tale is full of sorrows and dreadful times so I warn you to go find another good book to read instead of this melancholy one.
