[ COMPLETED] Keith's jaw dropped as his heart stopped. The electricity flowing through him felt like static as he turned to Lance. Lance's arms were around him quick, pulling him close and lifting him up. Keith saw Lance spin him around but he couldn't feel it. He was numb. He felt like he was watching it happen from someone else's point of view. He saw how deep Lance's eyes were and how wide his smile was. Keith ran his hands through Lance's hair, trying to capture this moment forever. He couldn't stop the laugh that bubbled out of him. He was so happy, and felt so warm and numb. The moment was surreal, just him and Lance. ... Keith and Lance have been "friends" since high school, but everyone sees them more as rivals. They can't stand to be around each other, but when their jobs bring them closer together, Keith sees Lance in a different way and Lance starts feelings things other than anger. {Cover done by my wonderful friend Avie, @damnallgoodnamesgone check out her work!}

"Your happy place?" Lance sounded almost completely doubtful. "Yeah, You know, when you close your eyes and imagine what makes you happy?" Keith said with a shrug. "Well.. I.. don't have to imagine what makes me happy. It's right in front of me" Lance gets in an accident with a robber, and ends up having his left arm fully paralyzed. "The boy, Keith, was it? If he had not pursued with the trials and unlock the power of the blade I would never have agreed to meet you." "Keith?" Lance popped a brow. "A Galra? Yeah right and I'm a Quiznak." "Keith is this true?" Allura was watching the Red Paladin in fear as the boy stiffened before his eyes slowly made contact with hers and she knew from that defiant stare that the boy carried the Empire's blood through his veins.
