Kakyoin is a reclusive painter that lives on the seaside. Every morning, at the crack of dawn, an ethereal voice wakes him up, and he's determined to get to the bottom of whatever is interrupting his sleep.

Jotaro looks up. The sea is flat, the tide low and the waves are weakly splashing onto the shore. He turns around, treading water, staring at the man by the shore. Kakyoin watches as Jotaro bobs with the waves, his gaze soft, but behind his eyes was something akin to fear, dark and gloomy. Jotaro just wanted to take his hand, and drag him in. After finally defeating DIO, Joseph and Jotaro have to fly back from Egypt to Japan, where Joseph says he'll just move there for Holly and Jotaro, after everything that happened, which Suzie Q agreed on. Polnareff said he'll go back to France for now, but visit them soon after he sees his family. It was a connector flight, so they had to stop in between. The second flight to Japan was delayed due to some crazy weather, and they were stuck in Pakistan for about 2 weeks. Joseph and Jotaro finally make it to Japan, they take a Taxi to their house and the two men could not believe their eyes. Jotaro was startled by what he saw. Because waiting at the entrance... was no other than Noriaki Kakyoin.
