Starting fifth year is difficult. Problems are piling up. Love is difficult, and there are deals you can't possibly get out of. For Sirius, his family is his worst nightmare. It's making his start a rough one. And then when Remus isn't on the train, he starts to panic. He knows he's gay and that makes the whole situation 10x harder. He isn't out yet, and is scared to do so. Aside from James, none of his friends know. For Remus, his lycanthropy is worse than ever. It haunts him, and it eats him. He doesn't know if he can take it much longer. Love is unexplainable at this point in life. Who does he love? What is his sexuality and does he even want to talk about it? For James, dealing with his scarred and anxious friends is a difficult thing. He has a hard time being the adult, but he tries, so hard, he has to. For his friends. Everything for his friends. How is he going to win Lily over? He's more than determined, but doesn't know when to stop and often crosses her line. For Peter, the secrets he happened to find out in year four, are extremely hard to keep. He's a terrible liar but he knows that accidentally slipping something, would mean his death. Relationships are tense and the meaning of true friendship is sometimes forgotten. Merlin help everyone get through year five.....

But Sirius still had a problem. He always wanted to touch Remus. Just any sort of physical contact. When Remus was laying in bed, Sirius wanted to crawl in too; every time Sirius sat next to Remus, he had to constantly remind himself not to run his hand over Remus' thigh; Sirius wished he could slip his cold hands under Remus' thick sweater and finger every scar that littered Remus' pale skin; Sirius wanted to caress every part of Remus' face as if he could memorize it by touch; and Sirius really wanted to know what the soft skin on Remus' neck felt like under his lips, Sirius wondered if Remus was as susceptible to love bites as he was.
