A best friend, a new friend, anything. When Katie finds out that Scotty made nine friends in less than a week, she can't help but laugh in disbelief. Scott proves that he does have friends, by bringing her to the Sandlot. That day, Katie not only saw proof, but actually became proof. As she not only made a few more friends than she thought, but she became awfully close to one "friend" in particular.
