Elijah is surviving though the last year of high school the only way he knows how. By working hard, hiding his obsessive compulsive disorder, and keeping social interaction to a minimum. His plan was working until a certain Ryan Stone, the most feared boy in school, decides he needs Elijah's help to pass his English class. As they get to know more about one another, an unlikely friendship develops and feelings start to emerge that neither were prepared for. Indifference may have been the theme of the English project that brought them together, but it also might very well be the thing that tears them apart too.

"So deal, okay?" "What about?" "If you kill yourself, I'll kill myself too." "Alright. But if you kill yourself, then I'll kill myself." "Okay." Audrey Simmons is suicidal. Cayden Nowell is too. But when they were about to kill themselves, they met each other on the same rooftop. And so, they made a pact. A suicide pact. This is a story about a boy and a girl who tries too hard to fit into their group of friends, but constantly failed. And when they found each other, they finally find a place they can fit into. The only mistake they made was that they broke themselves trying to fix each other. "I will put up with living here, on earth. But only if you're by my side." ----- WARNING : book deals with depression, suicidal tendencies and many more. Also contains a lot of cursing, so if you're sensitive to these kind of stuff, try to stay away. This book is meant to spread suicidal and depression awareness, not encourage it. So if you're depressed or suicidal, it's okay to read this book as the characters tries to overcome their depression and suicidal tendencies. This book also contains lots of humour for you to enjoy, so it's not all grey :)

"Free Me is one of the most humorous and saddening stories yet! It's exciting and clenches the hearts of readers as you read the tale of two boys in love...this tells the sad truth of today's treatment towards the lgbtq+ community and helps supports those affected by that terrible treatment. This is a great read and a must for everyone!" @FrancesDaaeBlue21 2nd place in the Golden Awards General Fiction 2nd place in the Perdurable Awards Infinite LGBTQ+ ----------- "That's what a kiss should feel like. It's supposed to knock you off your feet and leave you speechless, that's how you know it meant something, and you felt something real. The stomach flutters and sweating palms and shuddering, those are all the feelings you should get when you're attracted to someone, and that wasn't even crazy hot or freaky." Navigating high school is hard enough without being a pariah. Josh and Zayne understand the struggles of accepting yourself all too well as they tackle their senior year in their hometown of Waco. Will their struggles end up destroying them? ----------------------------------------------- This story contains graphic elements including harsh and hateful speech, self harm, acts of violence, and suicide attempts. This story is NOT suitable for those under the age of 16. These are serious matters that are not to be taken lightly. I do not endorse or encourage the self-destructive behavior depicted. This is just an unedited excerpt, to read the full story go to Amazon, Barnes and Nobels or the authors website.

"SITNL was one of the most realistic and heartfelt stories that i've seen in a while. It told a story of two teenagers who through love were not only able to learn from each other and always be there for one another through thick and thin but also accepted one another not for their past, futures or wealth but rather for who they were as people. Something that captivated me and made me truly love and appreciate this story." @awinterlights 1st place romance category- Adore You Awards Runner Up romance category- The Spring Awards ------------------------ Rhea Sommes has never had it easy; a mother who died before Rhea was even in high school, a father who can't get himself together, and no one to turn to. All she wants is to get through her senior year of high school in one piece, leave her crumby small town of Sunset, New Mexico behind and never look back. When classmates Jordan and Dominic starts to show interest, will her plans all go out the window? Jordan Mars wishes he could disregard his family, old money snobs who buy their way to the top and out of trouble. He would rather defend the little guy and fight for what he believes in, no matter how much money his daddy throws his way. When he gets up the courage to approach Rhea, and possibly help her in a tough situation, he'll have to come to terms with who he is and what he does to her. Will he be able to protect her, or will he only cause her more pain? --------------------------- This story contains harsh language, scenes containing suicide and self harm, scenes containing violence, scenes containing sexual actions as well as sexual violence, alcoholism, and abuse (physical and verbal).
