For centuries, the elemental cat groups EarthClan, FireClan, and WaterClan have lived in harmony together. Small skirmishes were never a problem, nor were any outsiders to the Clans. Newly-apprenticed Houndpaw finds the abilities of his Clanmates odd, but is excited nonetheless for his own revealance and his making of a warrior. With his friends Bloodpaw and Ochrepaw, all seems well; until a mystery about his deceased blood parents is revealed and his whole world comes crashing down. On the other side of the border, a villainous she-cat by the nickname "Dark" has been sent from the shadows of hell to steal every power from the Clan cats and keep them for herself.
