Karkat accidentally sends himself to earth after he messes with one of Sollux's machines with no way to return to Alternia he is forced to stay in the apartment of the insufferable human he encountered.

Karkat starts 10th grade at new school soon and he is terrified. On top of all his anxiety and worries, he meets someone new who might change his life altogether. Will it be for better or worse? Who knows. Dave's dreads school starting. He wasn't too excited to be surrounded by screaming girls and boys. Being this popular wasn't too fun, yeah it has its perks but he still doesn't like it much. His whole life is about to change when he meets someone new.

Karkat has been bullied for as long as he can remember. Dave on the other hand just moved to Karkat's school. Karkat has an habit of cutting himself. Dave has a habit of hiding his eyes. What happens when the two meet? Will they fall for each other? Read to find out!
