• Highest Rank #2 in supervillain • "Do you trust me?" he asked, still staring at the gray door. "Of course not," I said, as if the idea were absurd. A ghost of a smile crept at the corner of his mouth. His hand latched onto my arm. Panic started to pool out of my nerves. I glanced back and forth between his gloved hand and the concealing hood upon his head. Curiosity never hit me so deeply than it did at that moment, as I wondered who was under the hood. Who it was that I was supposed to trust. "Who are you?" I timidly reached my free hand up to his head, fingers tingling all the while. He didn't try to stop me. There was a brief second when excitement exploded inside me, propelling my hand all the more quicker, millimeters away from touching the black cloth. Ghost grabbed my hand mid-air, his reflexes acting lightning-fast. I started. Drums began to pound in my ears. My heartbeat rose about ten notches. He had his entire hand wrapped around my wrist, and he slowly eased it down until it was parallel with my body. "A villain can choose to reveal his identity, but not knowing is the beauty of mystery," Ghost said lowly, his right hand coming up to push back a loose strand of hair from my face. "Now close your eyes." Reluctantly I shut my eyes, but not because he had commanded the action. It was more out of fear of what was going to happen next.

Targeted by superpowered terrorists, an actress is protected by the government's strongest guardian--the same woman who broke her heart two years ago. ☆ Elsie Bates won't deny that she's made a few enemies during her fifteen-year acting career, but she never thought her actions would warrant her death at the hands of meta-human terrorists. As if that wasn't bad enough, her federally appointed bodyguard is the famous Camilla Wyatt, the most powerful guardian in the country and Elsie's sworn enemy. Because behind Camilla's sunny personality is a cold and heartless young woman, and no one but Elsie knows the truth. At least, that's what Elsie initially thinks. As it happens, being forced into a protective lockdown with someone can change perspectives, and Elsie slowly uncovers the secret behind Camilla's complicated character. In turn, Camilla begins to realize that maybe "trust issues" shouldn't be in her superpower repertoire, and self-preservation doesn't necessarily require self-isolation. But as the women grow closer, so do the forces that attempt to split them apart. And when the worlds of superpowered militaries, propaganda movies, and hidden conspiracies begin to collide, Elsie and Camilla must rely on each other to survive. ☆ INCLUDES: ✓ Militarized superheroes ✓ LGBTQ+ romance ✓ Diverse characters ✓ Subtle sociopolitical commentary ✓ "Science" FEATURED: ★ 2023 Amby Awards Top Pick (Sci-Fi) ★ @lgbtq Pride Awards 2023 Category Winner (Sci-Fi) ★ @FreeTheLGBT Pride Awards - Third Place ★ @TripleACommunity Aro Ace Awards - Shortlist ★ @superhero, @FreeTheLGBT, @WattpadUrbanFantasy, @StoriesUndiscovered Mature rating is for violence, grotesque descriptions, and swearing. Seventeen-year-old Raina Brandt has never fit in. A physical disability means she's bullied at school by popular kids like Hector, and only her two best friends, Jess and Sy, seem to understand her. But despite this, Raina thinks she's got life all figured out. Until, one day, a shopping trip for lip gloss turns into a catastrophe of apocalyptic proportions. Everyone around her seems to have developed weird magical powers. Well, everyone but her. Jess can appear anywhere, Hector can read minds- and Sy, well, Sy's gone missing. Raina would give anything for things to go back to the way they were and a mysterious and handsome stranger offers her just that, as long as she does something for him in return. But things aren't quite what they seem, especially when Raina discovers she's even more powerful than she could have ever imagined. Now, it's up to Raina to figure out how to exist in a new world of uncertainty and decide where her loyalties lie. Hanging in the balance is the life of her friend and possibly the fate of magic itself. ******* COMPLETE. Rated PG-13 for mature themes in later chapters. There will be trigger warnings at the top of any chapter that might include anything triggering. Swearing is in most chapters. Please consider this your warning for that. The completed novel is about 50k words and is a standalone, though I may write a sequel with the same characters.

"Every time I knock you out, you drool," Phantom points at my black shirt sleeve with a gloved finger. I groan in frustration, there's a puddle of drool on it! Talk about embar-ras-sing... "Then here's an easy solution: Don't knock me out," I say snidely as an attempt to keep my nonexistent pride. "What makes you think I'll stop? Maybe I like knocking you out, and draping your body over my shoulder? Ever thought of that?" he raises an eyebrow, but a curious look passes over his face, lighting his eyes so that they resemble emeralds. ~~~ Full of comical wit, and crazy smart, Kelsey Jerrs is the superhero called Chaos. Chaos's arch nemesis is Phantom- the Villain Magazine's #1 of Hottest Villains, and the only person who can take Kelsey's snarky remarks and throw them right back at her. When Phantom tells Chaos that her best friend and co-superhero is in major trouble, Kelsey jumps to help. But in order to fight the major villains, one has to be a major hero, and Chaos is not. She'll need Phantom's help and her brain to both keep Phantom from finding out her true identity, and to keep her and her best friend alive. Sometimes, evil doesn't always lose. #16 in Action 1/10/18 (This is the first draft)

**A Wattpad Featured Story** Kenna Jones isn't a Superhero, and she wants to keep it that way. Though her brother, Sebastien, is a star member of the Sapphire City Super team, Kenna keeps her Super abilities to herself and far away from a celebrity lifestyle she finds selfish and disillusioning. For reasons she'd rather forget, she can't stand most Supers, and uses her mildly famous pen name as a kind of secret identity instead. One evening, fiercely independent Kenna meets the new guy, Enigma, in the most annoying circumstances, and finds him slowly chipping away at her prejudices. Then, with Villains on the loose, threatening to foist a great Evil (with a capital E) on Sapphire City and those she holds dear, Kenna has to ask herself one question: is it time for everything to change?

Buggy Gills isn't who anyone thinks she is. Some say she's a snotty popular girl. Others say she's a geek who spends her time playing video games. Some say she's a blonde, others say wavy black-haired. Some have seen her as a kind nurse, and the rest comment her as an off-duty conductor at the train station. Who is Buggy, really? She's a chameleon, a 'mistress of disguises' as people on the news call her (although 'girl master' suits her better). And she's an anti-hero. Buggy does her own thing that just happens to save people's lives. Now that a well-known celebrity is kidnapped, Buggy has to find him before it's too late. The problem with that is, who's that girl Buggy's always seeing throughout her mission? Cover by @himayalin (ROUGH DRAFT) If you're interested in reading more of Buggy, you can find her story in my collection of shorts, Looking Forward.
