Not every love story needs a forever. Sometimes a moment is enough. Love does not always arrive with grand gestures. Sometimes it arrives while stuck in a storm getting soaked by the rain, a 2 a.m. text that asks, "are you awake?", a wrong coffee order that turns out to be right. It may transcend years or entire generations. Sometimes they remain quiet and sometimes they turn your whole world around. They are all recorded in the Storyteller's journal. They are soft, messy, stolen moments that I hope would stay with you long after the last page.

Disclaimer This work is a modern fictional reimagining inspired by the characters of the timeless essence of the Ramayana. It is created with deep respect for its cultural, spiritual, and historical significance. The intention of this story is purely artistic and imaginative, and not to distort, disrespect, or diminish any tradition, belief, scripture, deity, or historical interpretation associated with the original epic. This story is not written with the intention to hurt, offend, or target any individual, community, religion, or sentiment in any manner. The characters, events, settings, Bollywood style romance and songs and narrative elements in this book have been adapted for fictional storytelling in a contemporary context. Certain themes including dark romance, moral conflict, violence, villainous actions, manipulation, humor, and emotionally intense situations, are portrayed solely as part of the narrative and character development. Their inclusion does not imply endorsement, glorification, or support of such behavior in real life. Readers are encouraged to view this story as a work of fiction meant for entertainment and creative exploration. Any resemblance to real persons, interpretations, or events beyond the mythological inspiration is purely coincidental. Above all, this book is written with admiration for the spirit of the Ramayana and with sincere respect toward all cultures, histories, traditions, and beliefs connected to it. A small Saumya style ka note before we begin... Before you turn the page and begin this new journey, I want to pause for just a moment-not to say goodbye to the previous story, but to carry its warmth with us. Every book starts with blank pages, but it is the readers who fill them with life. You laugh with the characters, cry with them, celebrate their victories, and hold them close until they begin to feel like family. That is the greatest gift any writer can receive. I love reading ICT fics here, love the platonic bond shown between juniors with their seniors. But somehow no one has written a fic about Mahi losing his then love to an early death. My take on what the then ICT would have been like while he struggled through such a massive loss.
