Away from the ever-growing cities and kingdoms that dominate Pyrrhia, Bonecatcher, daughter of a MudWing and NightWing, has lived in only the fewest corners of the world. All her life she, along with a notorious group of gypsies, has maintained to a strict route of where she can and can't go, following the beaten path in an endless quest to avoid society- as is the life of the gypsies, who's reputation proceeds them. Bonecatcher isn't unhappy there; it is all that she knows. She would have peacefully thrown bones and read the futures of strangers for the rest of her very contained life. Yet, as she ages, the threat of marriage looms. Bonecatcher will do whatever it takes to rid herself of the ball-and-chain proposal... and when a chance to attend a school for the unfit and unbecoming presents itself in the form of a customer, Bonecatcher is quick to take it. Yet out of the talons of one boy, she falls into another. A boy which she dreams of, a boy she's seen once, a boy that has haunted her for life... he appears, and throws Bonecatcher in a whirlwind. And all the while, a SkyWing's dangerous discovery - one so prolific that her name will be known forever more - threatens to cleave Pyrrhia in two, creating a destructive chaos that may thwart the dragon world into ruin. ______________________ A story of new beginnings and secret histories, join Bonecatcher as she discovers a part of the world which is yet to be marked on any map. !In the process of being rewritten! ------------------------ "The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies, it comes from those you trust the most." The year is 4999 AS and Princess Scorpion is awaiting her ninth hatching day with her brothers. When the day finally arrives, treachery strikes her like a sharp blade, changing everything she's been led to believe. Anger and betrayal threatens to push her off of the edge, blinding her to her own wrong doings until it's too late...but is it really her anger and distrust that's blinding her? Before long the desert kingdom she called home is shaken back into a time of misery and fear through the sudden death of one of her sisters, war is on the horizon as accusations are tossed and alliances are formed. Tensions are rising, distrust is forming, and blood is spilling along kingdom borders. Forgotten regrets are being unearthed. All Scorpion wanted to do is protect her family, but how far is she willing to go when the enemy is closer than anyone had ever imagined? With the reluctant help of a kind hearted SkyWing whose senses are as good as her eyes and a NightWing with the ability to hear what is left unsaid, will she be able to solve the mysteries that lurk the palace's dark history? Or will she fall victim to her family's undoings? ------------------------ This book is part of a series which can be found in my reading list! Eight has lived semi-contentedly for years. All she has ever wanted is to find a way she can obtain happiness while fulfilling her duties as a Worker of the AntWing Colony. So far, that plan has been going swimmingly. Which is to say horrible, because as a dragon who's never even seen the sun (let alone a body of water), Eight can't swim. When her section of Workers reaches maturity they are tasked with a new job: one Eight does not agree with. They have to sire a new generation of Workers for the Colony. She and her best friend devise a plan to escape, but that also backfires - this time, more literally than figuratively... --- Even though this story is rated Mature, it is only for the occasional fight scenes which include enough blood and gore to showcase the reality of fighting. The named dragon straightened as if to look more presentable, but all that did was emphasize his inferiority. His copy of the general's pose at attention was laughable, and Prion felt as if the crowd was enjoying the entertainment. He felt his family's eyes on him and shrank internally at the humiliation he was bringing them. But as the general continued, Prion's posture deflated. Every word punctuated his growing horror: "Your failure to act has resulted in the destruction of the palace and the deaths of many nobles. You have been charged with treason and are exiled accordingly by Her Majesty, Queen Chalcedony. If you wish to return to your place in the Kingdom, Her Majesty will grant you pardon... only if you return with the heart of The Blue Comet in your talons." . . . 𝗗𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁... 𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝘆? Life in the rainforest is peaceful. The RainWings live in a place where everything is shared. Food is plentiful, no one ever fights, and even in the midst of war, the kingdom is quiet. Chameleon would never expect anything bad to happen in the forest. A normal dragonet at first, Chameleon discovers that the RainWings are anything but nice. After a nasty encounter, he gains a snout deformity that affects his scales. He suddenly discovers that he has no respect, no friends, and no hope. Eventually, Chameleon is exiled for one simple reason: He is different from everyone else. And then the RainWings do something that Chameleon would never forgive them for. Brimming with fury, Chameleon sets out to prove everyone that indeed he is different- but better than them all. But nothing could prepare Chameleon for what he discovers out in the wilds of Pyrrhia- something so influential that not even Chameleon himself could grasp the true power of it. Now he discovers he has a chance of rewriting his identity, his history, and his future. At last, Chameleon has the potential to make a difference... but what will this scarred, bitter dragon do with his newfound power? _____________________________________________________________ Chameleon ran over to Moss, who was crying, her wings askew. "Did you kill them?" he whispered to Moss. Moss looked up at Chameleon, her eyes glistening with tears. "No," she choked. "You know I wouldn't. That monster- Jaguar- pinned it on me. I promise, Chameleon. I didn't kill anyone. Why are they blaming it on us? What did we do?" "I have an idea," said Chameleon quietly, dangerously. He hissed. "Being different. That's what happened." He drew himself up and curled his claws in. "Trust me, Moss, I will get my revenge." Because no one should be punished for being different. _____________________________ [DISCONTINUED BOOK]

𝗗𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰, 𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝘀... Aurora is a normal IceWing, one without powers. Normal, and almost a nobody. So she doesn't expect anything to change when she goes hunting one day. Instead, something happens that changes her life forever- and has consequences rippling far into the future. Long before the time of Darkstalker and Arctic, centuries before The War of the SandWing Succession, a dragonet hatched from her egg- and changed Pyrrhia forever. _____________________________________________________________ "Have you ever wished for something?" he asked again. "Um, yes," said Aurora. From the corner of her eye, she saw the caribou herd on the move again. They disappeared over the horizon. She tried to hide her disappointment. "Have you ever thought about the possibility of them coming true?" "No, of course not," snapped Aurora. "Some things can never come true." "Well... what if they can?" _____________________________________________________________ COMPLETED BOOK #1 in these categories at one point: #animus #pyrrhia #icewings _____________________________________________________________ The cover was arranged by me.
