We've all heard the tales of good and bad, the tales of innocent deceit and her hero, the tales that despite their nature, show us the beauty in contrast. But it's the tales of pure evil that get swept under the rug. The tales of deception, where cruelty is rewarded. The tales that have you questioning who the real villain of the story is. "Don't you dare think you're anything but mine." + Abigail Grader lived a sheltered life, protected from the cruel world that surrounded her. Pure and soft-spoken, she enjoyed the simplicity of life. That was until a business deal fell through due to her uncle's arrogant and foolish behaviour. In an attempt to fix his actions, a contracted marriage was drawn up, binding Abigail in a loveless arrangement. He was dangerous, respected and cold. Notorious for his ruthless business strategies and negotiations, Damien Russo had authority and power within the palm of his hand. He lacked the capacity to love, but she had an abundance of it. As secrets unfold and walls are torn down, feelings are twisted with love, lust and betrayal. He would go to the depths of hell for her; she was, after all, the devil's favourite. + "D-Damien," she whimpered, "Not here." "You're just so damn intoxicating," He murmured into her neck, nipping at her skin as his hands rubbed her inner thigh, "You've got me fucking addicted." ----- Just a little disclaimer: This book is for mature audiences. Contains violence, mature scenes, and abuse. If you find any of these topics uncomfortable then please do not read. Hope you enjoy!!

She's probably psychotic. She's unbelievably innocent, doesn't even know the meaning of most cuss words. She loves her pictures and has a horrible sense of direction. She blindly trusts whomever she stumbles upon, causing them to either be touched or take advantage of her pure heart that only wishes to love everyone. She is beautiful, so truly beautiful inside and out. And I don't understand why in Hell's name I can't get her out of my head. She drives me crazy with worry, why does she have to so damn trusting?! For heaven's sakes! She trusted ME of all shitty people. A damned gang leader who almost blew her pretty little head off her petite shoulders. And I have never felt so savagely protective over anyone in my entire life. My beautifully innocent angel.

"Are you okay?" "If he ever fucking touches you like that again I'm going to-" "Someone's jelly." *** Adonis Prior: His glares and constant mood swings push everyone away from him, his scowls keep a three-foot radius of people away from him, and his tall muscular frame does nothing to ease the tension of those who shy away from his after just one glance. He has only one friend and he doesn't want any more. Adonis wasn't alone but he was lonely, he was broken from the inside out. Daisy Ivory: She could be seen with a smile on her face most days, although fake it was there. People generally liked her caring attitude and she shied away from the attention, hating to be on the spotlight. Her happiness was a well built up mask that not even her best friend could see past. Daisy was a girl with a broken heart and a broken life. When Adonis first saw Daisy in junior year, he had no clue what to think, she seems so happy and everyone seems to fall for it but he can see past the walls. He wants to know her better but for someone who doesn't like anyone a crush like that is dangerous. Adonis knows that he'd just end up hurting her anyway. Without even knowing her he tries to avoid her, avoids his feelings for her. Daisy noticed Adonis before, noticed the tall, mysterious boy who was always alone before but made a point to avoid him because he seemed like a heartbreaker and she has had enough heartbreak to last a lifetime. They tried to stay away from each other but it seems the universe has different plans. The first day of senior year, right when he thinks he was over his little crush for her, Daisy wants to be friends with him and they had no idea that their lives were to forever change. They were both broken, and they both needed mending, and they might just be the key to each other's happiness. Eventually, they become friends but will they ever become more than that or will their sadness swallow them whole? Will they ever become whole again?
