Stiles and Derek have a short lived relationship. After being apart for a month, Derek suggests they be friends with Benefits. No strings attached. To say the least, things don't go their way. Lying starts, secrets are exposed and new ones arise, jealousy spikes, confusion is almost constant. Derek is a newly single father to his only son, Isaac Argent Hale, and he finds himself having to move back to his home town of Beacon Hills to escape the insanity of his ex. It's in the middle of all this upheaval, the crazy mess that his life has become that he meets Stiles. Crazy, beautiful Stiles.

Deaton had always suspected a spark was buried deep within Stiles. When he proves it right he tells the alpha, Derek. Derek is in need of an emissary and Stiles would be perfect. But Stiles fights the spark within. He doesn't want to be tied to Derek forever, he hates the guy. Derek fights for Stiles but will Stiles fight for Derek?

The Mystery Man clings to Stiles as his savior while Stiles feels an odd urge to protect him. While being throw into a new lifestyle, Stiles has to make choices of his own, hoping they won't affect his newfound friend.
