A FMP AU that branches off from the end of The 2nd Raid anime. SPOILERS! During the operation to stop a rampaging Venom-class Armslave in China, Sousuke Sagara decides to abandon his mission due to his lack of focus after being forbidden to see Kaname Chidori ever again. After a surprising meeting with his personal nemesis Gauron on his deathbed, which resulted in his death and final failed attempt to take Sagara with him, young Sousuke becomes utterly lost after hearing that Kaname was assassinated... until Kaname herself shows up seemingly out of no where to beat some sense into him. With this development, Sousuke is brought back to his senses. But something different happens...
