Izuku died in the sludge villain attack. All Might got to him a bit to late. However, he woke up as a ghost. More specifically a poltergeist. He can manipulate the elements, mainly fire. But, poltergeists are hated by other ghosts, because they usually are a bit crazy (read: a lot). Izuku wants to convince them that he's good, but who would listen to a poltergeist who was probably trying to manipulate them?
